These two 3 hour “live” online Zoom workshops will present the same content as the previously planned venue based, full-day training. You will learn how to implement Leah’s highly popular and internationally recognised Zones of Regulation framework.  Leah will explain in detail a variety of tools (sensory supports, calming techniques, and thinking strategies) to help students recognise their internal emotions, sensory needs and thinking patterns within in each zone and when shifting from one zone to another. Most importantly you will learn how to teach students to self-regulate within “the Zones”.

This workshop will now be presented over two days via 2 x 3 hour “live” online Zoom workshops.
Part 1:  Tuesday 13 October and
Part 2:  Wednesday 14 October

How it Works

This two part workshop will be conducted at a time to suit viewers in the Southern Hemisphere. It will be presented “live” from the USA by Leah Kuypers at a time that suits viewers in Australia and surrounding countries.  The workshop will not be recorded. Timings both days are as follows:
  • 11:30am – 2pm New Zealand
  • 9:30am – 12:30pm in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
  • 9:00am – 12 noon in Adelaide
  • 8:30am – 11:30am in Brisbane
  • 8:00am – 11am in Darwin
  • 7:30am – 10:30am in Perth, Singapore, The Philippines, Indonesia

  • Group rates available for schools, therapy practices or organisations when purchasing 7 (seven) or more tickets in the same order at the same time.  The discount is available to a single organisation or a single school purchasing 7 or more tickets at the same time and the organisation or school must register attendees at the same time. Content Overview

This online workshop will teach you how to implement Leah’s internationally recognised Zones of Regulation framework.  During the workshop Leah will explain in detail a variety of tools (sensory supports, calming techniques, and thinking strategies) to help students recognise their internal emotions, sensory needs and thinking patterns within in each zone and when shifting from one zone to another. Most importantly you will learn how to teach students to self-regulate within the zones. The approach can be used effectively in the home, at school, and in a range of clinical settings. Workshop participants will learn how to teach the approach as well as when, why and how to use tools effectively.  Leah rarely present live seminars these days so this is a not to be missed opportunity.
These two 3 hour “live” online Zoom workshops to be held on 13 and 14 October 2020, will present the same content as the previously planned venue based, full-day training.   Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how to effectively implement “The Zones”.
